NCAA Football Betting Lines

01/19/2012 - Lake Charles, LA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - McNeese State cornerback Janzen Jackson has declared for the 2012 NFL Draft as a junior-eligible prospect.

He was one of a record-setting 65 underclassmen who have been ruled eligible for the draft, which will take place on April 26-28 in New York.

Jackson, 6 feet, 190 pounds, was a five-star prospect out of Barbe High School in Lake Charles, and the No. 2 cornerback in the 2009 class, according to Rivals.com.

Jackson originally attended the University of Tennesee, earning Freshman All- SEC honors in 2009 and second-team All-SEC honors in 2010, but was dismissed from the team last August following off-the-field problems.

He returned home to enroll at McNeese State and had 23 tackles, including one tackle for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups and one forced fumble in seven games with the Southland Conference program this past season.

Jackson's father, Lance Guidry, is the defensive coordinator at Western Kentucky.
